We are happy to announce that Thistledown Creamery is slowly becoming a reality, we hope to have our cheese room up and registered by June and then we'll be able to sell delicious sheep's milk cheese and yoghurt.
3/1/2010 We are getting close to drying off the ewes and we expect to start lambing again in June, we have plenty of milk saved for our soap and we will be making plenty during the ewes dry season. We saw a really nice documentary on Orangoutangs with Joanna Lumley, which really highlighted the damage palm tree plantations are doing, seeing the Orangoutangs in their natural habitat was very enlightening.
14/7/09 We're back milking, more picks can be seen on our blog, the ewes seem to be loving the new bail and we're enjoying it too! We're also now sourcing olive oil from a local olive grove which is fantastic!
7/4/09 Visit our blog for heaps of cute sheep pics and lots of information about daily farm goings on. http://blackthornsheepdairy.blogspot.com/
16/2/09 Divine Ewe is excited to announce that we will be adding bath bombs, hand wash and body wash/gel to our collection in the coming months, our new liquid soaps will of coarse be made be hand the old fashioned way with no chemicals or detergents, no palm oil or animal fats and of coarse a generous amount of sheep's milk! Watch this space. You can visit us at Robertson markets the 2nd Sunday of the month and Berrima the last Saturday in the month.
